Given the classic tonal range found in his solo work or the heavier hand needed to deliver the metal played in Jon Oliva's Pain, Matt always demands alot from his instrument.

That demand has led him on a 20 year quest for the right guitar. Matt now believes he's finally found what he's been looking for. Here is what he had to say about his new Chafin "Ember-Black Pearl".
